Get Knitting Patterns sells digital knitting patterns and other downloadable digital products.
Because our products are digital files that can be delivered and accessed immediately, all sales are final once access to the digital product has begun, except where a refund or another remedy is required by applicable law.
1. Digital Products Are Non-Returnable
All products sold by Get Knitting Patterns are digital products unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page.
Digital products may include:
PDF knitting patterns
Digital knitting instructions
Charts
Tutorials
Downloadable pattern files
Other digital knitting resources
No physical product is shipped.
Because a digital file cannot be physically returned once it has been accessed or downloaded, we do not accept returns of digital products.
2. No Refunds After Download or Access
Once a digital product has been made available to you, accessed, or downloaded, the purchase is considered final.
We do not provide refunds, returns, or exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.
This includes situations where:
You changed your mind after purchasing.
You no longer want the pattern.
You purchased the wrong pattern.
You accidentally placed the order.
You purchased a duplicate pattern.
You did not read the product description before purchasing.
You expected a physical item instead of a digital knitting pattern.
You expected a finished knitted garment or accessory.
You do not have the required yarn, needles, or materials.
You believe the pattern is too difficult for your current skill level.
You do not understand a knitting technique used in the pattern.
You do not like the pattern after downloading it.
You do not like the finished result you created.
You selected the wrong size.
You substituted yarn, needles, materials, or techniques and obtained a different result.
Your personal gauge or tension produces different measurements.
You no longer have time to complete the project.
You purchased the product during a sale or promotion and later found another offer.
You did not receive an expected result because the instructions were not followed.
You are unable to open the file because of an issue with your own device or software that can reasonably be resolved using standard PDF-reading software.

3. All Sales Are Final
Except where applicable law requires otherwise:
ALL DIGITAL PRODUCT SALES ARE FINAL.
Once digital access has been provided, we do not offer:
Refunds
Returns
Exchanges
Store credit
Partial refunds
The fact that a digital product has not yet been personally opened by you does not necessarily make it eligible for a refund if download access has already been supplied and applicable law permits us to treat the transaction as final.
4. Right to Cancel for Digital Content
Depending on your country or region, consumer law may provide a cancellation or cooling-off period for online purchases.
Different rules may apply to digital content that is supplied immediately.
Where applicable law allows it, by requesting immediate delivery of your digital product and expressly acknowledging the loss of your cancellation right, you agree that your statutory cancellation right will end when delivery or access to the digital content begins.

If applicable law gives you a cancellation right that cannot legally be waived or if the legally required consent process has not been completed, your statutory rights will continue to apply.

5. Faulty or Defective Digital Content

7. Download Problems Are Not Automatically Refundable
If you experience difficulty accessing your purchase, please contact us before requesting a refund.
Many download problems can be resolved by:

Downloading the file on another device.
Using current PDF-reading software.
Checking your spam or junk email folder.
Confirming that the email address used during checkout is correct.
If the purchased product can be successfully provided to you, a temporary download issue does not normally qualify for a refund.

8. Pattern Difficulty
The difficulty level displayed on a product page is provided as general guidance.
Knitting ability varies significantly between individuals.
A customer finding a pattern:
More difficult than expected
Too advanced
Too time-consuming
Unfamiliar
Difficult to understand because of limited experience
does not make the digital product defective and does not qualify for a refund, provided the product is otherwise supplied as described.
9. Yarn, Gauge and Finished Results
Knitting results can vary depending on:
Yarn
Fibre composition
Yarn weight
Needle size
Gauge
Tension
Knitting technique
Individual measurements
Pattern modifications
Substitutions
Blocking
We therefore cannot guarantee that every customer’s finished project will look exactly identical to photographs shown on our website.
Differences caused by individual technique, gauge, material substitution, or failure to follow the pattern do not qualify for a refund.
10. Product Images
Images displayed on Get Knitting Patterns may show an example of the finished item that can be created using a pattern.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, you are purchasing a digital knitting pattern, not:
The finished garment
A physical knitted item
Yarn
Needles
A knitting kit
Printed instructions
Materials shown in photographs
Purchasing a digital pattern while mistakenly expecting a physical finished product does not qualify for a refund where the product page clearly identifies the item as a digital pattern.
11. Accidental Purchases
Customers are responsible for reviewing their cart before submitting an order.
Once a digital product has been supplied or made available for immediate download, accidental purchases are generally not refundable except where required by law.

14. Exchanges
We do not normally exchange one digital pattern for another after delivery has begun.
For example, if you purchase Pattern A and later decide that you preferred Pattern B, we will not exchange the products.
You may purchase the alternative pattern separately.
This does not affect any mandatory legal rights relating to defective or incorrectly supplied digital content.
15. Pattern Updates and Corrections
From time to time, we may update a pattern to:
Correct a typographical error.
Clarify an instruction.
Correct stitch counts.
Improve formatting.
Improve diagrams or charts.
Provide additional clarification.
The existence of a minor error that can reasonably be corrected does not automatically result in a refund.
Where appropriate, we may provide customers with an updated or corrected file.
If applicable law gives us the opportunity to repair or replace defective digital content before a monetary remedy is required, we reserve the right to do so.
